The deadline for submissions for the Technology Hub has been extended after “great interest” from the public, according to the Ministry of Public Works.

The Tech Hub, a Throne Speech pledge from the Progressive Labour Party government, will provide support for start-up companies.

It will give them access to the government’s regulatory environment, tax advice and other government services, while serving as a business incubator for introducing, developing and including young people in the tech industry.

In a press release today, the ministry said the deadline for submissions for a Request for Information has been extended to November 15.
