Climate risk will be the focus of a webinar to be held on June 22, hosted by the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers.The event has been staged to mark International Climate Change Day, and will feature Bermuda re/insurance market leaders and Ekhosuehi Iyahen, secretary-general of the Insurance Development Forum.The IDF, which is led by the insurance industry and supported by global organisations such as the United Nations and the World Bank, aims to extend the use of insurance to build greater resilience and protection for people, communities, businesses, and public institutions that are vulnerable to disasters and their associated economic shocks.
