There was all change at the top in overall series standings in the International One Designs at Bermuda International Race Week, where Peter Wickwire, of Chester, Nova Scotia, leads after eight completed races on the Great Sound.

Wickwire has moved to the top of the leaderboard with 22, while Bermuda’s Martin Siese is seven points behind and Peter Rugg and John Burnham are on 29 points.

Wickwire had an outstanding day yesterday with his worse finish being a fifth. Siese, however, consistently finished middle of the fleet making his aggregate points higher.

The first race of the day was the final race for the BW “Jordy” Walker Memorial Trophy, series A, with the race provisionally been won by Wickwire on countback over Siese after both finishing on 13 points. Rugg and Burnham finished third.

Series B for the Richard Kempe Memorial Trophy has completed two races, with John Corby, representing the UK Daring Fleet of Corby Yachts leading, with Timothy Dittrich of Marble Head, Massachusetts second and Wickwire in third.

There are four more races left to complete the B series and overall series. Today is a scheduled lay day for the fleet. Racing continues tomorrow at noon.
