Bermuda Under-15 squad named

The Bermuda Football Association have named the team who will compete in the Concacaf Women’s Under-15 Championship in Florida, starting next week.

The tournament will be held from August 6-13 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The team, led by co-captain’s Koa Goodchild and Danni Watson, includes experienced players who have played in previous Concacaf tournaments.

The Lady Gombey Warriors have been placed in Division Two and drawn in Group D. Their opening match will be on Monday against Trinidad and Tobago. Bermuda will face Barbados the next day.

After a rest day, Vance Brown’s squad will close out the group stage against Curaçao. The group winners will move on to the Divisional semi-finals on August 10.

The Division Two championship will be contested on August 12.
