Bermuda captain Danté Leverock

Danté Leverock is on the search for a new club after news emerged that he has left SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Premier Division outfit Sligo Rovers. The Bermuda captain joined the top-flight side in December on a one-year contract, after leaving Estonian outfit Narva Trans. Despite making 22 appearances as Sligo finished seventh in the table this season, the 27-year-old will be on the move again after the club announced that Leverock not be rejoining for the 2020 campaign. “Sligo Rovers wish to note the contribution of Danté Leverock, Kris Twardek and Sam Warde to the club following the conclusion of the season,” a statement read on the club’s official website. “The Bit O’ Red can confirm that the trio will not be rejoining for 2020. We wish them well in their future career and thank them for all of their efforts.”Leverock will have an opportunity to put himself in the shop window when Bermuda take on Major League Soccer side DC United in a friendly in St Croix, US Virgin Islands, on Friday.
