Bermuda will find out their potential opponents for their 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup qualifying match, with the draw taking place in Miami, Florida, tomorrow.As announced in March of 2018, the group stage of the 2019-2020 Nations League kicked off qualifying for the Gold Cup in 2021. After round-robin play, the top two finishers in each of the League A groups and the top finisher in each of the League B groups secured their automatic qualification for the tournament.Those 12 teams include, Canada, Costa Rica, Curaçao, El Salvador, Grenada, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Suriname and the United States.After finishing bottom of group B in League A, behind both Mexico and Panama, which included a decisive and heartbreaking 2-1 defeat away at Mexico in their final encounter, Bermuda consequently suffered relegation to League B.As a result, Bermuda, as well as Cuba, Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago will have to face a qualifier in June with their opponents to be decided from a previous qualifier in March, with the second-place finishers of this year’s Concacaf Nations League B facing the first-place finishers of League C.That means Kyle Lightbourne’s side will face one of French Guiana, Guyana, Montserrat, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Bahamas, Barbados, Guadeloupe and Guatemala to secure one of the four final qualification spots to the 2021 Gold Cup.
