Island Games volleyball squads announced

All set for Gibraltar

The Bermuda Volleyball Association will be represented by two men’s and two women’s beach volleyball teams at the NatWest Island Games to be held in Gibraltar from July 6 to 13.

The Games, which takes place every two years and host up to 18 differing sports, brings together 24 island nations and represents a unique opportunity for Bermuda to compete on a world stage.

Beach Volleyball will be taking place at the Nuffield Pool from Sunday, July 7 to Thursday, July 11. The Men’s Division will feature 15 teams across three pools, while the women see 17 teams in four pools.

The men’s teams will consist of Daniel Fiddick and Josh Malpas in one team and Kyle Hamilton and Keiran Hamilton in the other, while the women’s teams are made up of Allison Lacoursiere and Allison Settle as one pair and Meghan Calhoun and Elisabeth Rae as the other.
