Bermuda is expected to receive a dozen more cruise ship visits in 2019 than it did in 2018, according to the newly released Cruise Ship Schedule.

Dockyard will see an extra 16 visits throughout the year, with a new one scheduled for the Great Sound, but both St George’s and Hamilton are expected to receive fewer cruise ship visits.

Penno’s Wharf is scheduled to receive 12 visits, compared to 15 in 2018, while Hamilton will receive 15 visits compared to 17 this year.

According to the 2019 Cruise Ship Schedule, Bermuda is expected to receive 108 visits from regular callers next year — two more than in 2018.

There will be three additional visits by the Norwegian Escape, along with one less visit from the Celebrity Summit.

And the island is expected to receive 84 visits from occasional callers — ten more than this year.

Two cruise ships — the Ventura and the Aurora — are scheduled to visit Bermuda in February, a month that had no cruise ship visits in 2018.
