Trio of victories for Bobb in Baltimore

Building nicely: Caitlyn Bobb was in top form in Baltimore last weekend

Caitlyn Bobb continued her fine form in the build-up to the Carifta Games when she picked up three wins in the MPSSAA 2A Central Region Championships in Baltimore on the weekend. Bobb, competing for Harford Technical High School, placed first in the 55 metres final in a time of 7.42sec, before also winning the 300 and 500 metres races in times of 41.67 and 1:19.07 respectively. In the 55 metres Bobb finished ahead of Khaidea Brown of Carver A&T High School (7.55sec) while her Harford team-mate, Nya Ray, was third in 7.56. In the 3,000 final. Bobb beat a couple of Carver sprinters, with Karah Moore finishing second and Brown third. Bobb capped off her outstanding performance by helping her relay team place second in the 4x200 relay in a time of 1:52.73, behind Carver A & T High School who had a winning time of 1:51.12.
